6 Months Have Gone By

Well it's been 6 months, how time flys by! I am gong to be a Grandma again any day now. I can't wait to see what my 1st Grandson will look like. : ) We are still in the same house and looks like we will be until early Spring.

Selling A House!

Wow over 3 weeks with not a post.
The fixing up the house thing is starting to get annoying! It's so hard when my Daughter still lives up there! If she would take care of things it would be different. We have to put the new sink in the kitchen, new knobs on the cupboards, and hang the rest of the blinds. Then we have to work on the bathroom paint, flooring, new ceiling tiles, and maybe a vanity. There is also the carpeting in the bedroom! That should be it though for the upstairs.
Downstairs we have to wash the walls in the frontroom and kitchen, wash the cupboards in the kitchen, install carpeting in the small bedroom, and pack up unessary things to make the house look bigger. We also will have to wash all the carpeting when we start having buyers walk threw. Then there is the outside of the house some more trim to paint, screen door to install on front of house and paint front door, plant flowers around tree, and try to fix up that grass in the front.
Selling a house is soo stressful and we haven't even begun yet!

I Scrapbooked some more pages and I am starting to get better at it than in the past. I will have to put them up when I have more time. I am watching the Grandaughter today and she takes up all of my time. She will be three next month on the 17th and gets to be more of a handful every year...LOL

Lazy Saturday here......Trying to get a page done to be published and it's starting to come together after an hour. It's another one of my Grandaughter, she seems to be the only one who wants here picture taken...LOL
My Daughters went off with out me to the State Fair Park for some big sale they are having. Thats ok though, I don't need to spend any money.
Went to the local home store yesterday to pick out a floor for the bathroom in the house upstairs also paint swatchs for it. That is the room that needs the most help before we put it up for sale. We also have to paint the vanity in there or buy a new one. Then there is the lighting that needs big help! Other than the bathroom just a good cleaning and new carpet in one of the bedrooms is all that really needs to be done. We bought all new blinds for the upstairs last year and put a new kitchen floor in. We also will buy knobs for the kitchen cuboards.
I can't wait untill this is finshed and we are in our new home. We are just in the first step of many more to go!

Layout Of My Grandaughter 

It's a snowy gloomy day here today, a good day to do some scrapbooking. It's a fun hobby and brings your creative side out. Not only that but it makes your pictures look a lot better! It's also a good way to preserve your memories!
Lately I have been getting into it a lot more. The pages I am doing are looking a lot better. I think I might venture out and start doing more things with it.

Today is March 14 and the sun is shining. I can't wait for the warmer weather to come! Then I can start working on the flowers and herbs in my garden.
The house I have been in for 13 years is hopefully going up for sale in a couple of months. It needs a few things fixed up and some yard work and she will be good to go. Then I can start a new life in my new home.
